What documents do I need to rent a car?
To rent a car with Eternity Car Rent, you'll need:
A valid driver’s license — Malaysians must have a full Class D license.
Foreigners can use their home country license if it’s in English and at least 1 year old.
If not in English or from a non-ASEAN country, an International Driving Permit (IDP) or official translation is required.Proof of identity — Malaysians present their Identity Card (I/C), while foreigners must show their passport.
A credit card/chargable account in the main driver’s name for a refundable deposit.
Can I book a car for someone else?
Yes, you can book a rental car for someone else in Malaysia, but it must follow the our car rental’s terms and conditions:
Primary Driver Requirement – The person who will be driving must be listed as the main driver in the booking. They must meet all eligibility requirements (valid license, ID, minimum age).
Document Presentation – The main driver must present their valid driving license, proof of identity (I/C or passport), and a credit card in their name for the refundable security deposit at the time of pickup.
Additional Drivers – If you also plan to drive, you must be registered as an additional driver and meet the same requirements. An extra fee may apply.
Booking Name Accuracy – When booking online for someone else, ensure the main driver’s name appears in the reservation to avoid rejection at pickup.
Responsibility & Liability – The main driver is legally responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, including any fines, damages, or insurance claims.
Are there mileage limits?
No, there are no mileage limitation for all our Premium MPVs.
